Your touch upon my cheek,
Your hand upon my skin...
I can still feel you here, lying with me,
Reaching out to me with every inch of your heart...

I remember that shimmer...
the one that caught your eye everytime you saw me...
the one that made my heart grow numb, tingling with an emotion I couldn't hold...
Do you remember how I felt,
My lips caressing yours...
I do...
I remember every moment...
And all I can think is that I missed something by blinking...

But you're not here now...
You're standing so close...
and yet just out of my reach.

I want to hold you,
to touch you,
to feel that tingle again...

But you're not with me anymore...

It doesn't sting though... I still feel that jump when I see you...

I can only hope she makes you feel the same way...

And if it doesn't work out...
If she can't fill that hole in your heart...
Then I'm here...

Maybe your won't come back tomorrow... or the next day... or the next day...

But i'll still be here...
waiting for you to give that awkward smile,
waiting to see that twinkle...
and whenever that day is...
I know it will be the valentines day we didn't spend together...
